The adventure begins! Our group will drive in two vehicles to Maasai Mara for an afternoon game drive in the best wildlife reserve in the world!  We will spend the night at IlKeliani tented camp after a bonfire and late night snacks. … learn more
After an early breakfast (and laughing about the late nite animal noises) we will enjoy a full day of wildlife drives in the Mara.  We will enjoy a late night outdoor dinner (our favourite part of the trip), and share stories before spending a second night at IlKeliani Tented Camp. … learn more
After an early breakfast, we will drive back to Nairobi, and transfer to the JKIA airport in time for your flight to Uganda.  Upon arrival in Entebbe, your drivers will collect you in 4×4 Land Cruisers with pop-up roof and transfer you to the nearby Entebbe airport guesthouse. … learn more
After a delicious breakfast, we will drive over the equator (where we will stop for lunch) and drive through various roadside communities en route to Lyantonde, where you will stay two nights at Rwakobo Lodge near Lake Mburo. … learn more
A full day in Lyantonde meeting some local staff members, field visits to micro-credit recipients and a visit to a traditional healer. We will then return to Rwakobo Lodge for dinner and an optional late night game drive to see the tree climbing leopards at night! … learn more
After an eventful 2 days in Southwestern Uganda, we will drive from Lyantonde to the source of the Nile River in Jinja and stay overnight at Surjio’s guesthouse. … learn more
After an early breakfast overlooking the Nile River, we will drive through Chimpanzee Headquarters en route to Mbale  to visit the MBUNTU coffee cooperatives and processing facilities to learn everything there is to know about coffee, before driving back to Jinja for dinner and overnight at  Wildwaters Lodge. … learn more
After relaxing, reading and sun-bathing by the Nile River in the morning, we will have our lunch and drive back to Kampala for craft-market shopping, and spend the night at Fairway Hotel in one of our favourite city’s in the world, Kampala. … learn more
Enjoy a second day of craft shopping in Kampala, and then transfer to Entebbe airport for evening international flight back to Europe and onwards to final destinations.
Transfer planes in Europe, and then fly back to final destinations in Canada and the U.S with memories and photographs of your magical Mbuntu adventure in East Africa. It is now up to you to recruit more for your tribe.
